The Jewish Children's Museum announced that their “World of Good” gallery – which takes children on an interactive and in depth journey through do-good themes – will be turning into a World of Light, focusing on the giving that is paramount to the holiday season. Joined by a hospital nurse from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, children will decorate get-well cards on the wing of a life-size ambulance, and then hand the cards to the nurse who will deliver them to patients at local hospitals. The nurse will speak of the positive impact that well-wishes and gifts have on children who are sick. Along with every card, the Museum will be sending wrapped gifts.
