Kids can try their own hand at art as they learn Japanese Marble art – Suminagashi - through workshops and create their own stained glass window panel.
Kids will be invited to contribute to a collective mural which will be donated to Westchester Children’s Hospital.

A unique opportunity for kids to watch artists creating their masterpieces, and try some new skills too!
Some of the featured artists include Encaustic art by Rena Bareno, Toothpick artist Nelson Pantoja and Papercutting by Dena Levie.

Suminagashi Workshop
Suminagashi or "floating ink" is the process of marbling plain paper with water and ink to transform it into something vibrant and colorful. It originated in Japan as early as the 12th century.
Kids will participate in a small group workshop and walk out with their original piece of art.

Game Show
Everybody loves a quiz show. At the Jewish Children’s Museum, visitors can compete against each other to answer questions on Jewish life in a sounds-and-lights-filled game show setting.
